That burlwood looks really nice. Does anyone have any experience with these? I attempted to look around but saw very little in the way of reviews online for this particular knife.

SmCaudataMcusta knives, in general, have a good reputation. They use quality materials, and finishing and assembly is very good although I have read a few complaints about individual knives that could've used a little more attention to detail. Out of the box the blades tend to be honed razor sharp.
I have two, one being a quince burl/Damascus blade MC-1 which, to the best of my knowledge, is nearly the same knife as this MC-2 but with an attached pocket clip. It's beautiful, well made and solid in my hand. If I have any complaints it's that the knife is so nice looking I'm reluctant to use it as an everyday carry item for regular chores and get it all dinged up. Hence why a lot of people refer to Mcusta as "gentlemen's" knives. That aside, I'd buy another one without hesitation. Cheers!

SmCaudataI have an MC-1 as well with the quince burl and it is drop-dead gorgeous. I will be getting a second one for use and keep one 'safe'. Nicely sharpened with a useful blade shape and fine point. It feels natural in-hand. If you need a break from 'tactical', get one.

SmCaudataI have the quince knife with thumb hole from a prior drop. It is a very pretty knife. As some have said, maybe too pretty to carry. My big issue with carry is the handle is super slippery despite those grooves. The polished wood just seems to want to fly out of your hands.
