Just got mine. Very nice. Love how the colour shifts when looking from different angles. Couple of numbers weren’t painted properly or were damaged somehow.

Ares78kinda looks like what they're doing is engraving in the numbers, then liberally applying white paint to the die, letting it dry, then polishing off everything that isn't in the engraving. Can leave irregularities like this.

Just got mine and as soon as I rolled the d4 it chipped and broke instantly. The rest are fine and very nice feeling but still upset it broke first roll

TorrinTiger's Eye is unfortunately very brittle, so I would probably blame the material rather than the workmanship.

Oblivion77They don't have crystal dice, so that kind of makes this (really transparent) ad a bit meaningless.

Is there confirmation from the manufacturer that these are natural stone?

DraxxionIt isn't. The banding is far too regular and linear. Natural tiger's eye has a lot of minor variability in the striation. This looks like a fibrous crystal simulant.. So, banding that shouldn't be perfect but is, numbers that should be perfect but aren't.

These dice have engraved Arabic numerals, we have updated the copy to reflect this.

Numbers are just stickers on the dice. They are not etched at all. It does appear to be real TE but the stickers... Why?!

The company that. Makes these just starting making engraved sets about a month or two ago, it appears that these are the upgraded engraved set,as the page states that the dice have engraved numarals and not printed. I recently bought an amethyst set off massdrop by the same company that are engraved.

Martinez530I have the engraved amethyst too and they are beautiful! They finally updated this drop description to confirm these are engraved as well, so I just joined the drop.

From the images and the MSRP on the 8/24/17 drop, I take it these are the engraved version. Can anyone at Massdrop or MDG confirm this, as the drop description does not specify?

RavenofoctoberWell, I reached out to Massdrop via the Help Center, and they were entirely unhelpful. So if anyone from Metallic Dice Games is floating around, I'd love an answer to this question so I can be sure I'll get the product I'm expecting (engraved Tiger Eye dice) if I join the drop.

Just received my set 10 minutes ago and I must say, I'm satisfied. I rolled for satisfaction on my percentile and d10 and got 100%, no joke, first roll. The dice are smooth cut, the tiger's eye is nice and the weight is nice. It doesn't feel too much more heavy than plastic and the feel is phenomenal. The only downside is that the numbers up close don't look that nice. From a distance, no issue, but up close they're obviously put on like a sticker, occasionally resulting in off-center numbers. For the price, though, and beautiful tiger's eye, this is a small complaint.

Have you guys purchased this set before elsewhere? I just wanted to try and make sure that they were actual tiger's eye and not some acrylic or other fake. Thanks!
