I purchased the MecArmy GP6 a few months ago. I knew that it didn’t have a huge spin time but for the price, I was expecting it to be a quality item. It wasn’t! It looks good & that was the only positive. The advertised spin time was impossible to obtain or get anywhere near & that was only if the MecArmy GP6 would even spin. To say it it was temperamental would be putting it kindly. I took it apart, re-assembled it & gave it another go. Now it wouldn’t spin. Tried it again then it would. The bearing wasn’t great & the overall design where the bearing housing is on a screw thread meant to hold the bearing in place was poorly made. The bearing housing had two small holes either side. This may look neat & tidy but trying to tighten this was a right pain. I tried using a cocktail stick & then tiny precision screwdriver. You can only tighten this using one hole at a time. The whole contraption would have been improved greatly had MecArmy enclosed a tool that was U shaped so you could insert it into both ends at the same time & then try to turn. I contacted MecArmy & their response was it must be a faulty bearing. They could send out a new one but it would take some time as they’ll post it from China & I was in the UK. The returns policy was only 14 days, I ended up returning the MecArmy GP6 to the retailer I’d bought it from. I had another one sent out in its place & I encountered exactly the same issues. Yes this maybe a Fidget Spinner that’s got Titanium & an unusual shape & size but it’s not worth buying when the bearing & bearing housing mechanism is so poorly designed & made. I have no confidence in a new bearing ,asking any difference. It’s a bad design with numerous flaws. A spinner is intended to spin. When it can’t do this function, it’s a pointless purchase. Save your money & buy a better designed & functioning spinner. This Spinner isn’t worth your time or money!
