Product Description
The MecArmy PS14 1,200-lumen torch is small enough to take anywhere comfortably, but it’s got enough power to knock your socks off. Capable of producing a 1,200-lumen beam and shining over 100 meters, the little flashlight has plenty of power for hiking, camping, and pointing out stars Read More

Can any owners comment on the Tint/Color rendering (or upload beamshots) when operating in dual LED mode? I’m very close to purchasing the Black Titanium but I’m kind of a tint snob /white wall hunter. Thanks.

If the pics are to be believed, this light has dual emitters and from the description on MecArmy's website of the PS14, both cool white and neutral white are available, in the same light. I reckon this is the selling feature of this light. It's a bit clunky to switch between them, and unless you need one mode or the other to get out of a jam, it's better than carrying two lights. https://shopmecarmy.com/products/ps14 So for the base model, 10$ off doesn't seem like a bad deal.

Would I be correct that it's the typical Chinese made tap-the-slippery-chrome-button-in-the-back-X-number-of-times-to-get-to-strobe-mode switch? While clicking your heels three times with your eyes closed, and saying, "There's no place like home.... there's no place like home....."
Haven't picked up a Chinese made light from any manufacturer (they are all made in the same factory from the same components, just like 90% of the rifle scopes on the market) that had a strobe - first switch, or after a few months of pocket carry / perspiration, the switch got stuck in whatever mode it was in before it melted down.
They're all the same crap in a different wrapper at different price points. FAIL!

the black Ti is nice, but holy price tag... and not sure the pocket clip is deep enough for my preferences.. oh well, continue the search for the next best thing, without a $100+ price tag.

Interesting looking light but I'm not buying any non-NW lights anymore. $50 for the aluminum model and $80 for the Ti is probably what I'd consider reasonable for a light this size.

OK thanks, who made the MD description? The MechArmy description is a lot clearer. Probably lost some sales.

computernutI don't really know, but it definitely lost some sales due to the inaccuracy of the description considering that most comments on here are pretty much everyone complaining that the light doesn't have a NW option. Massdrop really needs to get a "flashlight professional" to create these flashlight descriptions.

Over $150 for a titanium AA sized flashlight w/out any NW led options... I'll pass.

IYP365I’m gonna agree with that sentiment. Way too $$. A reylan Ti is only $60 ish.

IYP365 It has both neutral white and cool white options, which is why it has two LEDs. https://shopmecarmy.com/products/ps14

I'm confused... is the the dual-LED version that MecArmy sells itself, or is it just a single emitter? The dual emitter design seems a bit pointless IMO.
Massdrop, could you provide information for the runtime on each brightness mode? The description says "Max runtime: 25 hours", but I'm assuming that's on the lowest brightness. Does the flashlight automatically switch from Turbo mode to High mode after a certain period of time?
Having that burst of 1,200 lumens would be nice for stunning/blinding an attacker, but this is basically a 100 lumen light. After 2 minutes of being on turbo (1,200) or high (550) it automatically drops down to medium (100) and stays there for 5 hours until the battery dies. Not being able to keep this on at a 500-300 lumen range without it dropping down to a lower lumen makes this some what useless for me personally.

MichaelHeartlessMD, we need to blind attackers for at least three minutes. But I’m going to gouge out my own eyes before dropping $150 on an EDC flashlight.
