Sturdy but pricey. Not so functional.

Good functionality, although pricey
I ordered the flashlight specifically. It's a very sturdily built little nugget. Very solid and seems like it may be indestructible although I haven't banged it around enough to really tell. It is heavy for it's size and a little bulky under a long sleeve shirt. I need a small light and have a couple I carry and use daily. This one just became a part of my EDC package and I like that it's carried outside of my pockets. (Cheat note, occasionally I slip it of the watchband and into a shirt pocket when I'm using it repeatedly. But then it's right back onto the watchband so I know where to find it.) The function button is large, flat, and requires a dedicated press to activate so it doesn't turn on without intention. There is a menu to activation, with two presses to bring on the lowest setting, a single press for the next brightness level, another single press to go up in brightness again, and then a single press to cycle back down to the lowest setting. From off, three rapid clicks brings you to the brightest setting, and a single click from there activates a very bright emergency strobe. A long press turns it off from any brightness level or strobe. I've had no problems with functionality and use it virtually every night to check the front walk and porch after arriving home from work in the dark. Just point my hand and flex my wrist to the side to expose the light, to shine it in whatever direction I'm looking. For example, one evening carrying a bag of groceries I turned it on and found a clay pot pushed off it's stand by some marauding raccoon or skunk, which had broken and spilled potting soil in a large arch. It was nice to see and avoid before stepping in the soil and then possibly tracking it inside. It comes with an extra CR2032 battery and a tiny Torx wrench to change it. I haven't really tried removing the back but the screws are small enough and the wrench is hard enough that it may be easy to strip the heads. Be patient and plan to spend a little time if/when you do go into the case, so you don't destroy a screw or two. All in all, I like it. Dont bother.
Ordered the watchband compass. Waited 30+ days for delivery. MassDrop gave me the option of cancelling because of delays. I should have. Received watchband flashlight instead of compass. Thought ok, Ill just keep it. Functionality is completly random. May or may not turn on and cycle through options. May just come on all by itself. Its going back
