There have been many complaints that the USB3 used in these cables are non functioning and wont even plug into a device. Has this problem been remedied as I already have a useless cable from a previous drop?
onesneakymofoI second this. If its going to lack a colour I'd certainly like to see it first. Kind of bummed that I'll likely need to get the jumbo as it sounds like the standard might not power the LEDs on the CTRL.
I'm curious about the colour options. Does this indicate that the jumbo variant won't have any hot pink in the cable? Or was this an oversight? Thanks!
OtircamI would like to do an aviator drop at some point but TRRS is less likely. Nothing is in the works yet but I plan on making some samples to send in soon.
Am I reading this right that the jumbo version is midnight blue through the entire cable while the normal sized ones is hot pink for the non-coiled part of the cable? Why are there no images of the jumbo sized cable?
I purchased one of these cables directly from @mechcables and I can confirm that his cable doesn't work on my CTRL keyboard. I bought the cable specifically for my CTRL.
Update: Just want to say Mech Cables are a good buy. I received a cable I had issues with and they were quick to send me a replacement. After further discussions with the folks at Mech Cables I was informed that the trick in getting the cable to working with the CTLR keyboard is in the length you order. A 6 - 7 foot cable is the sweet spot from what I was told. Can anyone confirm?
