Great cord while it worked, but seemed to quit out earlier than expected. Went through a lot of daily wear at the office, though, so can't be too mad about it.
This cable came looking like excellent quality. However, after very light use, the connection became spotty. Any movement of the cable would result in rapid disconnection/reconnection. I tried it on different machines and with different keyboards and got the same result. Too bad considering the looks were outstanding and it felt like a premium cable. This all started about 6 months after purchase.
Was pretty stoked at first but delivery was atrocious and it overloads my usb ports
Its a high quality cable from the materials and look of it but I've only had it for a little while now and it has started to set off the surge protector of my usb ports. I have to unplug everything and manually boot into windows and then it will reset the ports. Tried it with two different computers, two different keyboards, and two different operating systems. Also the delivery timeline was terrible.
The quality of the cable in my experience so far is excellent and it looks great on my desk.
Unfortunately my coil wasn't as long as I was expecting. In fairness I remember being a little confused with the ordering process, but I had also measured out what I wanted to check. The coil still looks great though, and it's well made and hasn't kinked or uncoiled at all.
The heat-shrink is also more of a peach colour than the orange shown in the pictures. But that's an issue with the photography by Drop rather than the product itself.
Overall, it looks great and it's a sturdy cable to own.
