this is so much better than the other carbon-themed cable i got off massdrop. this one actually works all the time, whereas that one needs to be unplugged and replugged all the time. mechcables seems like a solid cable provider and i'd definitely buy from them again.

Solid cable construction and perfect match to my Keychron K2
I've been eyeing different custom-sleeved solutions for while now, but wanted to wait until I settled on a daily driver with regards to the number of keyboards that I've built or purchased for different work stations. After settling on Keychron's K2 via a Kickstarter campaign that I totally forgot I backed, I thought that this would be the perfect time to clean my d*mn desk and finally get around to copping a custom cable.
Color me surprised when I finally received it months later; delivery time is the only caveat to this order. I ordered it in July and didn't receive it till October. I had since found other custom cable solutions that I eventually used for another editing bay that I was building out. That being said, the build quality of this cable is top notch. Connectors feel solid and the heft and studiness of the cable made the wait worth it. Perfectly color matched to the black, greys, and orange of my keyboard, I'm more than happy with the purchase. (The attached photo makes the wrapped orange coil darker than it actually appears.)

Bad Fit/Massdrop Cust Service
Prove me wrong Massdrop. Refund me on this purchase. This cable doesn't fit, as SEVERAL of other people have reported. I'm highly disappointed and feel somewhat pissed that Massdrop threw the past warranty book at me. Especially after the money I've spent with them. No cool!

USB C does not fit happily... when I plug it in looks like the data is not transferring... really disappointed. Also, the color is much more red than pictured.

USB type C connector does not fit my Galaxy Note 9. Have not had a single issue with any other type-c cable. Not going to force it more than I already did. 0 for 2 with these cables.
