@mechcables any chance for a relaunch of this Drop? Have Godspeed now and somehow missed this and super sad. Or possible to order from you direct?
Or if anyone reading this has a cable for sale, looking for USB C to USB A (or C) preferably with a coil! :)
I got the cable this weekend and when trying to connect it to the CTRL, the lights flicker, some keypresses are not detected. It is practically unusuable. Any idea of what to do?
Would not recommend. Seller is unresponsive. Ordered two cables from their website, each took 3-4 weeks to arrive which is fine. However, the last cable I ordered does not work (USB-C). I've reached out multiple times about the faulty cable with no response.
To echo the other comments - no, the USB-C has not been fixed. My order arrived last week and does not work.
If you plan on using these with a CTRL keyboard, the cable is only rated at USB 2.0 and as such will cause the LEDs to flicker/dim. I learned that the hard way.
cca310The cable that comes with the CTRL is USB 3.0 and the LEDs will only function properly if plugged into a 3.0 port. If you use a 2.0 cable, the LEDs will flicker/dim, no matter what type of port you plug it into.
I really want to purchase a USB-C cable, but the comments regarding the fit and durability are mega concerning. Have these issues been addressed @mechcables ?
