I like the click it makes when I plug it into my ducky one2 mini. Makes me go "yeee bout to type some sh!#"
Coil isn't perfect but its pretty big gauge wire so thats to be expected and can be trained over time. Cloth sleeve shows no fraying out of the envelope which is good. Shrink wrap is thick and very tightly shrunk. All in all you are paying for a low demand boutique item at a premium due to manufacture costs at such a low order amount. 10/10 will buy again in different colors.
Side note - Seems to be somewhat cat proof. Simbah done tested that out already.
I ordered the jumbo version because I heard that it would have more length tolerance when used with keyboards like the Drop CTRL. So far, it doesn't disappoint in terms of power delivery and aesthetics. However, the coil didn't come out perfectly, as shown in the photo below.
It took forever to get here, and it got delivered to my neighbor by accident. BUT THAT is USPS's fault, not drop, or the cable maker.
As for the cable, the quality is SO nice. Really great spring in the coil, which is super tight, beautiful colors, and the Aviator connector is painted a rich metallic purple, which is a nice touch.
Good looking cable and the color scheme fits great with my Godspeed caps and desk pad.
The coil wasn't perfect on mine when it arrived and has deteriorated a little bit more since then, but I've never owned a coiled cable before so I'm not sure if I should really expect it to be in the first place. I've tried to bend it into the shape I want myself but have found that that generally just makes things worse.
Overall I've been happy with it since I learned to accept the slight imperfections in the coil
Great looking and feeling custom cable. No fit issues with the aviator connector. The jumbo coils are absolutely massive as they should be (one loop has a different bend to it and tends to stick out though). Be careful around velcro cable ties as they cause the cable to fray!
As others have said, it's pretty, the braiding is great, and it _feels_ good.
In my case, the USB-C end was causing connectivity issues as soon as I plugged it into my Drop Ctrl. Lightly pushing down on the connector would reliably disconnect it, and pushing up would reconnect it - something that the 2yr old stock cable does not exhibit.
Also, the USB-C end seems minutely thicker than it should be; it goes in and out with more resistance than the stock cable. It's something you typically don't want as it can stretch the port.
