It's interesting to me that so many people are highlighting the fact that their cable died. Mine did too. After 2 tries, with both dying after a couple months of use. Very disappointed with Mechcables so far. However, as I said in my other post, their customer support was excellent.
I decided to opt for one of the Glorious cables. We'll see how it goes. I'm not seeing enough consistent reviews on the positive to ever try another Mechcable. Too bad because they look great!

So, I bought this along with Drop Paragon Series Shogun Keyboard but the keybaord isn't working when I connect it. Am I missing something? (Noob to keyboard world as you can probably tell by my purchase. Lol) Thank you for your help in advance.

Idk if anyone else has this problem but the this cable does not work on the Idobao ID67 Idk about the crystal one they have on drop but the reg ID67 this cable does not work on it. Which is sad unfortunately but I'll just use it on the tokyo 60.

Does the cable work with the DROP CTRL keyboard? I've seen multiple different comments and reviews with different statements saying it doesn't work for it while others say it does work for it. The complaint I see is that it lacks enough power to be providing for the drop CTRL.

Received my samurai cable from drop and it only works on certain color mode for the drop ALT? I have to replug it in and lower brightness for some it to work sometimes. Tried different usb ports to my motherboard also. Ex) I switch colors in usage and it'll start blinking colors and try to reconnect to my pc. Sometimes it will connect and reset back to default settings. Sometimes the colors will change to what I wanted, but have no more input to my PC.

Tea242mine is glitchy way too often the keystrokes do nothing, however, the colors and lighting seem fine.

@SpencerL or any of the Drop Mech team, I actually ordered one through the Keycap section as an add-on earlier since the cable wasn't offered as a solo item at that point. I added the cable to a keycap set then removed the set from my cart, leaving the cable add-on by itself. The order went through okay. Will that still be okay or will it cause an issue with the order???
