Handmade Cables With Super-Computer Vibes
Give your keyboard a retro super-computer look with these custom cables. Styled to match Oblotzky’s GMK Space Cadet keycaps, they harken back to the 1980s—but they can just as easily pair with a modern keyboard or separate cap set if you like the look. Made by hand from 28-AWG tinned copper wire, the cables feature an aluminum Mylar wrap beneath a braided copper shielding. On top of that is a PVC jacket, which is again wrapped in American-made 550 paracord. A small piece of tubing near the connector ends adds to the cable’s durability.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of a black heatshrink or a white heatshrink in standard or jumbo (+ $2). You’ll also have your choice of length from 3 feet, 5 feet (+ $1), or 7 feet (+ $3); the option to add a 7-inch coil (+ $12), and your choice of connector end. As each cable is handmade to order, this drop will have an additional fulfillment period.
