Bought these to use with my EDC3's. The cable constantly detaches from one or the other of the earbuds during normal use. Even while sitting still. Trying to walk or run? Forget it.
Works well. Great easy connectivity. The earbuds don't stay on the cable very well - but that is the design. They are just held in place by the connectors which can slide in and out, so they always come off when you are getting them ready to wear. Once on, they seem to stay in place.
When this was released, it was a decent option. But meanwhile I would not bother, better to go for a BT 5 option. Sound is decent for the codec, but connection is not so stable.
Decent build quality, but don't buy if you plan on actually using it
Got these to pair with my Ikko OH1s with plans on getting a pair of two-pin to MMCX adapters but after the first five minutes I was ready to throw them out and take the loss...
Connecting them out of the box was fine and the audio was good despite being a little quiet when my device was being used near chest height. However, when I went to put my phone in my pants pocket it immediately cut out, and has happened everytime I have tried connecting them to my device and then lowered my device past my waist regardless if it is in a pocket or not. It has literally sat in my drawer for the past year just in case I need a need a paperweight with super impractical wires attached. Unfortunate part is that the really is nothing you can do to solve the issue, there's no firmware to flash or anyway to improve the connection quality. I was so worried about making sure it was the right 2-pin measurement, didn't think I would have to worry if the product would actually work :/
Just get the UTWS1 if you need to make IEMs portable right now but I hope they go back to the drawing board and make a functional product in the future!
Bluetooth pairing works great, audio quality is okay, but the volume control enclosure is flimsy and comes apart pretty easily. These are relatively low-cost though these issues are to be expected.
My IEM doesn't perfectly fit but overall my experience with this Bluetooth cable is satisfying. Battery lasts about 6-8h and so far I am using it for little bit longer than an year. The downfalls are that it's a little bulky and when is connected to my phone on my display appears that has 70% battery remaining, but soon after 70% shows up battery finishes. In general I am glad I bought it, works for me.
I wish these would've worked out. The sound wasn't that great and the build quality wasn't there either. The EDC3's I bought this for had an issue with the pin-jack on the right iem so between that and the low quality of this product, I feel it wasn't a smart purchase.
