Anyone have any experience with the headphones listed here? I'm looking at getting a replacement for my Dad who is currently using an old pair of Astro a50s (pads are looking rough and they don't make them for this version anymore). They don't have to sound amazing as he only uses them for TV and his hearing isn't the best.

schmick0Not exactly, but these look a lot like the MEElectronics (this company’s previous brand name) Air-Fi Matrix that I bought here on drop in 2014. If this headphone is at least as good as my Matrix, then it will be clearer than the Astro and have a longer battery life. If they updated it to add aptX Low Latency, all the better! The Astro A50 has unnaturally exaggerated (and distorted) bass, so a new headphone that’s not like that might take a little bit of time to get used to.
