or you can buy a firestick and pair to it through Bluetooth using SBC. aptx LL is cool but what you are pairing must be compatible. if you have a media library you can also use kodi or vlc with firestick and fine tune the audio delay.

Baby_boy_BelcherEugh, SBC? It’s functional, but aptX LL is worth finding in devices that you intend to accompany with video content. Android and iOS have protocols to communicate with registered Bluetooth devices and get the exact latency from supported headphones (like Sennheiser), and then automatically delays video content like YouTube, Twitch, or movies to match the audio delay, but this MEE device won’t have that feature, and aptX LL is pretty much the best bluetooth option right now for “live” audio like in video games while playing.

Evshrugmpow has a Bluetooth transmitter\receiver with aptx hd and aptx LL for $30, i think it would be more useful since its a very small portable unit. but for people who dont care about a slight audio delay, i think a firestick would be the best option for tv pairing.

Baby_boy_BelcherWell, the Amazon Fire stick runs off of Android, right? Android actually has a Bluetooth subroutine that asks paired Bluetooth headphones what their latency is, and if the headphone manufacturer knew about that feature and supported it, the headphone will share its latency spec and Android will delay the video to match. This is also true of iOS (and the Apple TV). However, that doesn’t help someone who uses a game console for games or apps (like Netflix, Hulu, etc), is watching content from physical media (like BluRay, DVD), or another source (like cable TV). For that, a more universal transmitter would help, but it should have optical (preferred for SQ and latency) and an analog 3.5mm input (“aux”), support aptX LL and higher bitrate codecs (AAC, aptX HD, LDAC, LHDC, etc) than just the Bluetooth standard SBC (which is the baseline, but the old standard only sounds about as good as a medium bitrate MP3 file and has about a quarter-second latency or more), and it’s really nice if it’s a class 1 Bluetooth device with extended range.
