Mine arrived earlier today. At first listen I thought it was broken, all bass, no mids or highs at all. After 10 minutes, either my brain figured them out or the speakers broke loose a bit, the vocals sounded much clearer.
Definitely bass emphasized, quite a contrast to some other headphones/IEMs that I've been listening to lately. Turn the volume up and the bass emphasis gets to the point where its making a hot mess of the music. But listening to some genres, i.e. KPop, it seems to fit in really well. Right now, with the volume knob is turned down, the low end did not disappear like it does on some other headphones/IEMs which is a good thing.
THey don't need much power. Ridiculously easy to (over)drive with my android phone.
Comfort is ok, its not going to win any prizes. The ear pads rest on the ears, so for me, it means shorter listening sessions rather than longer.
Construction is plastic, durability is suspect. I don't abuse my gear, so it will probably last.
Lets get right to it, for the price, can there really be any cause for complaints?
I bought a bunch, so the kiddos are going to have some fun with some new cheapies.

Got mine today, build quality is decent but mostly plastic (as to be expected at this price) and they sound surprisingly nice. Compared to sennheiser hd201s (famously neutral sounding and around the same price) the ht-21s aren't as neutral with more of an emphasis on making music sound good and somewhat fun. All round good for the money.

Got these in. Gotta say that the head fi review was right, these are very aggressive in the highs and mids. They are very fatiguing headphones. I might try to add some more foam padding to them to help make them more mellow. As it is I can't listen to these for more than 30 min before my ears hurt. Listening to Drum and Bass is hard since the snare hits are piercing. Other than that the sound quality is impressive for the price. Clarity is good. Bass is a bit recessed while treble stands out. They are very easy to drive and on my Nexus 6p they need to be around half volume. Build quality is good and they are extremely light weight. Got these to keep in my pack always for when I dont want to lug around full sized cans and these will do the job for that. Ill post again after I put more foam in the cups to mellow out the sound.

How is this compared to Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X (1st Headphone, bought in Japan but I dont understand a thing back then apart from the brand. Personally dont like this one) and Sennheiser hd428 (2nd Headphone, looks great and not too bad)..
Would love to have something thats better than those 2.

Apples and Oranges my friend. My understanding of the AD___X line is that they're open and crisp. I have HD558s and I've listened to HD 439s?... I think that's what those were. These are basically a smaller M50X with 20X sized drivers. Compared to your headphones, these are more in the realm of hip hop, trap, trip hop, edm or anything with a strong to moderate bass note, there are some highs, mids aren't quite there, clarity isn't the best but they're fun for $12.74 ( my price from last drop)

I occasionally use them (still new from last drop) and they've been cleaning up. Still can't compare them really to the HD558 but I can compare them to the M20X (all of the entry cans I've owned). These are FuN phones. Meaning, bass, highs and mids are there somewhere. They have a punch, high hats are there, detail not so much. Good sources of course will sound better. I got them for 12.74, they're cheaper now and is all the more reason to get them. Simply GOOD. They're good. Not great but they're basically wal-mart in ears and on ears on roids.

Been using them outside and at work, and most seem to agree that these are surprisingly durable with above-average sound at this price point.
