I had bought these as a backup pair of earbuds for my primary pair if they ever broke, and received a RX18P.
Now, less than a month (around 2 weeks) after using them since my daily driver broke, these have broken as well. I first started noticing errors when these were plugged into my Samsung Galaxy S8 and google assistant kept popping up randomly. Then, a few days later - youtube would start randomly pausing and selecting random videos. I soon discovered that these were all due to a faulty connector wire in the jack of my earbuds (rotating the jack would fix the issues) but soon after sound completely stopped emitting from the right bud. Honestly a disappointing experience.
I have the same issue with the track stopping and the Google screen popping up. I've contacted customer service for refund or replacement.
Let me know what they say... I doubt they will allow for a replacement. Probably not buying from this again due to the abysmal quality.
I will let you know. Massdrop's customer service has always treated me good. I only used the headphones two times in as many days. I wasn't expecting a lot due to the price but these were garbage.
Customer service just emailed me regarding the faulty headphones. They are replacing them. Crap headphones but good customer service.
