Dmac0073what headset is connecting and what isn't and again what is the make and model of your phone. if you got a venture and something else and the venture is the one connecting might just be your phone only supports up to bluetooth 3.0
Received my Ventures a few days back been testing them for a bit. For starters it's comfortable enough for me to sit for a couple hours at a time without taking them off. The clamping force is not too tight which is a huge relief for someone wearing spectacles. Noise isolation is surprisingly decent I blocked out most of the noise from the construction site just across the street.
The sound quality though... I haven't tested them with wires but over bluetooth it's definitely not the best I have tried. Bass is way too heavy. I had to dial down the bass in the equalizer settings. Something I have never done not even on my vmodas. Plenty of details lost especially for percussion instruments like cymbals and snare drums.
Call quality is decent. No one could tell the difference between using this and regular ear buds.
Been using them for about 4 days averaging 3-4 hours a day. Still haven't been able to drain the battery.
Haven't had any issues of connection drops via bluetooth so far even when walking between rooms.
The red Rumbles came in for me. They're a lot smaller than I thought they'd be (on ear instead of over-ear which the pictures make them look), but the sound is decent enough. I am using them for work, so will have to see how long I can stand them on continuously before they get too uncomfortable. Overall not a bad deal, though.
I got my red rumbles today they have good clarity and sounds nice during calls . they are actually pretty loud the bass could be better plugging them in via the headphone jack I get better bass and less clarity over bluetooth I get less bass more clarity been using them around my neck I use them as my headphones to talk to friends while playing games . they are loud enough to hear across the room. But they are very uncomfortable to wear over your ears. All in all I like the look of them just wish they were a little more comfortable

welp I got the red rumble at least it is bluetooth 4.0 but god the base is way too heavy on these. I don't listen to crap like dubstep which can't even be called music to really care about having that much base. it also doesn't sit that comfortably on the ears. I might need to find new ear pads. will probably have to go back to my logitech h600 which had much better treble and mid then these things will let it burn in for a week or so and see if it balances out. if anyone knows of an equalizer program that works well on windows 10 to turn down the blasted base on these things would be much appreciate.
Edit: tested out with my phone was much better there thanks to poweramp allowing me to adjust the equalizer for this thing so well. so wish i had gotten the matrix or touch might get the new bluetooth drop to replace this was a huge disappointment.
Just got my Matrix2s from the mail. I'm surprised I got lucky enough to nail the 5% chance, I usually never win shit. Sound quality's noticeably better than my last headset. Hopefully they'll last me more than a year, which is usually how long headphones last for me for some reason. Thanks Massdrop!
Got a Touch and a Venture. Venture looks almost as if it was opened before.... Multiple tape/stickers stacked on top of each other on the box edges.
As for sound... The Venture is a let down, feels muffled and bass heavy. Feels like I have my hands over my ears at a club.
Not impressed at all
The Touch... I was was not sure about on ear, i like over the ear, but this fits well seals well and doesn't make me sweat like some reviews claim. Comfortable, feels fragile, and the sound is superb for the money and in comparison to venture. Much more detailed, clearer, and neutral compared to venture. Also has decent bass.. I know which one im keeping and which one im giving away...
