Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

If it's US only then this is def. my final grab bag : )
Must be the beginning of Skynet right here on Massdrop. Soon there will be Massdrop Arnold-Schwarzenegger-bots exterminating everyone outside US. Their number generator is alive and thinking for itself and they don't even know it.
That, or this is simple probability with ~74% of purchasers being from US meaning they are more likely to be the ones getting the prizes. In this grab bag I'd expect 1-2 non-US persons to win one of the prizes since they have a 1 in 4 chance and there were 8 prizes. I'm sure if you looked at the stats on other grab bags and actually thought about what they mean you could draw similar conclusions too.
Would you prefer that they weight the non-US status of an individual to make it more likely for them to win? If that happened US persons would not be as interested in the grab bag and would not buy. That would leave this grab bag with 1/4 the sales and 1 of the prizes up for grabs. Logic sucks doesn't it?
Definitely not U.S only prize winners
