Product works fine. No issues. I totally deserve this but I was so hooked by the design I didn't realize it only had the 9 caps. I added it to cart real quick to qualify for free shipping. I'm currently rocking a 60% keyboard and I wanted to use this for a numberpad when I'm MS EXCELING my brains out. So my bad on that. I contacted drop within the first day or two of receiving for a return and it was unreturnable so I'm sticking with it.... it's still a really cool design tho. Perhaps a little overpriced but totally fine can't fault them for my own mistake :)
An adorable little macro pad. Hefty. The bottom keycaps scrape the case upon use though. Doesn’t hinder its usability, just makes a small scraping noise.
It looks awesome. Should make some artisan keycaps that matches the gameboy theme and act like a "screen" on it. I love that the buttons on the sides are functional too.
I really liked the look, and it matches the look of another board I have. I wanted to use it as a macro pad for editing photos but I haven't actually put it to good use yet lol. No regrets though.
saw the shape, immediately ordered. no regrets.
Jokes aside, this is a novelty macropad with a unique look from the standard rectangles we see. It isn't the cheapest out there if you're looking solely for additional buttons, but it's got an aluminium top case and a chonky acrylic bottom case which gives it a decent amount of heft. Machining looks consistent on both pieces and there isn't any glaring flaws/blemishes on either too.
Nitpicks? There is no angle to the case so the buttons do not "face" you when placed on a desk. And, perhaps specific to the soy colour and/or the unit I got, the soy colour is on the dirtier side in comparison to the product picture (could just be the lighting really).
I collect gameboys and other old school nintendo stuff and loved the idea of the pad immediately. Very nice design and great quality, easy to customize through VIA, super easy to take apart and mod, overall a great buy
