It's not a huge issue for me but does anyone know whether these are weighted to be statistically correct/perfectly random? I know there was a drop for some d6 dice that were but I was hoping to find some for table top gaming that were as well.

dragonbudi have yet to see any polyhedral dice that make that claim (and i tend to pickup any metal dice i see) i think it is too much hassle to make non-D6 dice that precisely.... unless they are all smooth faced and they just very lightly etch the numbers into each face...
but either way i don't think these dice are perfected to that degree, because dice that do make that claim have very sharp edges from being milled out of a solid piece of material, and these dice have rounded edges from being cast from injection mold, also the numbers look stamped (or part of the mold) rather than being milled out (which is needed to equalize the weight)
but i could be wrong, i don't claim to be a dice expert, i just think metal ones are sweet =3

dragonbudYou're never going to get "perfecting" random. You could get the level of pecision of casino dice but that would be quite expensive (used 6d casino die sell for about $80). I do not believe these are milled as the previous MD dice you mention. There was a couple of Kickstarters that had milled polyhedral die offered a year or two ago, but they cost about $120 per set.

ChicagoWayone of the kickstarter's you're referring to is Artisan Dice, http://www.artisandice.com/ they seem to be doing quite well, they are very pricy but exotic and one of kind.
worth it if you want to throw some money at your dice, as these could be considered the best dice out.
also game science is back in business, making precision gaming dice again for cheaper than before, which is probably the next best thing to artisan dice.

NabledFull disclosure, I'm in on this drop. GS made nice dice (I had a couple sets back in the day), but they are injection molded. I think the vintage ones (not the ones since they were sold and before they were bought back) are better than most dice, eg. Chessex. I am hoping these MDGs are better still. In theory they should be. I can't really justify for myself getting a milled set of polyhedral, unless I had money riding on an RPG. I don't ever see that happening. But then I'm just getting back into RPGs so perhaps sometime down the road I might bling out.
