The dice are fine. They roll as expected and they are a fun novelty item. They look nothing like the posted image and instead have a brushed metal look as opposed to a glossy silver look. The edges are also far more rounded. I would not have purchased these had I known this was what I was going to get.
These dice are really well-constructed with a great weight. My set had somewhat more rounded edges than the picture shows (especially noticeable on the D6 and D4) as well as larger/clearer numbering and a brushed finish.
The only issue with these for me are the weight; I have a few other one-off metal dice that are nice for the novelty but I figured a whole set of regular-sized metal dice would be easier to get used to. I was wrong. They have a nice weight but rolling them on a table is pretty much a no-go due to damage and they are a lot louder than I expected. It's also harder to get a really good roll, because of the heavier construction they don't have the same bounce and tumble as regular dice which can be a little unsatisfying and feels less random.
They're cool to have around as conversation pieces and I get a lot of comments on them when they sit on my desk, but they're a little impractical for day-to-day tabletop play unless you have some kind of padded/lined rolling tray. For the price I would buy them again for the novelty but if you're looking for everyday rollers I would go for some of the other neat sets you can find around the gaming community.
Make sure to get a mat for these as they are heavier than they look, I dented my wooden table and cracked my kitchen floor tiles when one of them fell, but other than that, these are amazing
Great dice, but the lettering can be difficult to read. I'm not sure there's a fix, though, because crisper, brighter lettering would play against the whole "antique" look.
