Buyers should know that in addition to being antique, these dice are organic, officially licensed, shade-grown, limited edition, paleo, and last but not least, tactical. Remember: words mean whatever you want them to. If this vendor has chosen antique to mean "lightly distressed," that's what it means.

ybotherwhen they say "Antique Silver" they are referring to the color of the die, not its age/status as an object.

bardonThese antique silver dice were first used in 1775 by the United States founding father Benjamin Franklin to play a dwarven bard in the campaign that eventually sparked the American Revolution. Following a disagreement with the GM George the III on how everyone has to chip in to buy snacks but only George got to choose the snacks, the game was eventually abandoned to chants of "No Snaxation without Representation."
