Is there enough padding for me to drop it down a flight of stairs? I want a backpack that will keep my gear safe under medium to higher impacts. Fresh looking pack either way!

This is really 80L? That would make it bigger than most hiking backpacks...

ThisIsntSteveHi. It is not 80L bag. The 80 and 85 is just a code symbolizing this bag's relative size in the agua collection. In the collection here are three holsters (25, 35, 45), two messenger bags (60, 75) and two backpacks, which you can buy here for 25%-off price.

Is the camera gear compartment of the 80L version able to hold a Canon 6D with battery grip, and 70-200mm 2.8 attached? How about the 85L version?
I'd love a confirmation that the above setup fits sideways in the lower gear compartment (of either bag), so that it's accessible through the side pocket(s).

Let me fix my previous answer: the 85 will fit, though it will be tight.
The agua collection designer personally approved to me that the 85 was designed especially for these kind of cameras with large lenses.

miggoThanks. Committed.
Is this submersible? I would love an option besides dry bags and pelican style cases for SUP and canoe day trips.

Matthias_LambertHi,
Note that it is a weatherproof bag but not waterproof. If it will fall from you SAP, water will come into it. I don't think it's the perfect fit for this kind of use cases...
