Designed by father-son duo Grant and Gavin Hawk—referred to as “the most innovative designers in the knife industry” by Chris Reeve—the full-tang Slimline (a slimmed-down version of popular Pony model) has yet to be seen in this combination of colors. Available exclusively on Massdrop, this version of the popular survival knife features a blade made from CPM-154 steel with a stonewash finish and G-10 scales in a woodsy, OD-green colorway. Textured grooves in the handle offer a secure grip in anything from mud to muck, dirt to dust. (Make sure and keep it clean so you can see the signature G & G Hawk engraved on the tang.)
Note: This drop is limited to 24 units. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
When compared with 440C, CPM-154 delivers improved edge retention, resistance to wear, and hardness, making it a benchmark steel in the high-end sporting knife category. Pair high-performance steel with a form-fitting handle, and you'll quickly realize the Slimline’s utility. With support for multiple grip positions, including standard and reverse, the handle provides a natural position for the hand across a wide range of tasks. The large finger choil is the perfect spot for the index finger, and the spine is chamfered for thumb placement.
