DianaYes, however the aluminum and brass may discolor or irritate the skin after prolonged contact. No problem with Titanium... except for the cost, of course!

Sunshine_USAHow come they can make a whole pen in titanium for $45 but a mini can goes for $100? Not rhetorical; actually curious! :-) Is it simply about supply and demand? Or is it because your titanium cans are grade 5 while typical titanium pen bodies are grade 2 and easier to machine? Brad hinted at something like that machining a grade 5 pen body would destroy his equipment. :-D
Would a grade 2 titanium cash can be cheaper, perchance?

dag.odenhallThat is a fair question. Supply and demand does play a role. Mostly though it is the time involved in making the spindle. Only a small portion of the machining is on the CNC lathe. The rest is on the manual machine. Also, the Ti spindles have a radius on the bottom whereas the other metals are flat. I don't use grade 2. In my opinion the grade 5 is far superior.
Have you per chance checked out the price of my pens?? You had best be sitting down... ;-)
Thanks for your interest!!
