Actually, I'm not going to drop on this. My trusty old deathadder is working perfectly fine and OMG Naos QG looks sick! Please guys drop the QG when it comes out, I'd get it, and I'm sure others will also.

Sherakoit states'" state of the art sensor" but what ist it? 3310 again? then why would I bother vs naos 7000 like you said? they also claim better ergonomics they look exactly the same i mean..

lyrillOptical sensors are just superior to laser sensors. There are no laser sensors without hardware acceleration. Pretty much the only reason to get a 7000 serious mouse instead of the 8200 series, though.

lyrillI don't see anything about the kickstarter mouse in the discussion. Are you talking about the Ninox Aurora?
For me, the reason I'd get this over that mouse is because I use 4000DPI on a 1600x900 resolution, so if I were to play at 1080p or above I wouldn't be able to turn up my DPI relative to the increase in screen size, since the Aurora maxes out at 4000 DPI if I recall correctly.
Also, the ergonomics are superior for the way I grip mice.

lyrillSorry, I thought there was an error with the replies because the OP you're replying to didn't specify it was a kickstarter, and I didn't recognize the "QG" for some reason.
The Naos QG isn't out yet so if that's the mouse you're asking about, there's nothing in the kickstarter that implies there is or isn't going to be a change in raw specs, so that question can only be left unanswered until further notice.
