I wanna mention that I was in the previous drop for this and now, the sides of the mouse are worn out, as in the matte coating is wearing down.
Other than that it's great...

GeoggaAre you sure that it's the coating wearing down? I was in the previous drop as well and, as stated by ballzley, the mouse can have a "grease-stain showing where your hand usually makes contact". This can make the impression that the coating is wearing down, but it's easily wipeable.
Despite the need for this periodic cleaning, mine has been perfect so far.
