Great mouse for back in the day
Awesome mouse, lasted me many years until the scroll wheel started to go. Definitely a heavy hitter back in the day but hard to compete with the new options out now

A good mouse, until it wasn’t
Great mouse while it worked, but two years in the scroll wheel started skipping beats

Great mouse
Been driving this mouse for years and the weight is perfect for me. Unfortunately it is an old product and no new iterations are available. Not worth it compared to other available mice in this day and age.

Great Mouse, Needs a Successor
Dropped this mouse constantly for about 5 years now and it only just now started having double click issues for me. Love this mouse, will use it for as long as I am able to. Wish Mionix had chosen to update their Castor (more buttons + wireless) rather than go full gimmick and increase the price of their Naos by 30USD for no discernible reason.

Scroll wheel broke sooner than most mice,
and despite the wonderful shape and materials, my hands hurt when i use it too long. Which defeats the reason i specifically chose this mouse for.

This mouse is great if it works, pretty terrible if it doesn't.
I've used this mouse for 4+ years now, and it's still working just as well as I bought it, and the wear on the mouse is as expected. One of the biggest annoyances I have with this mouse is that the mouse wheel they use on this is just not good. Initially, I thought this was a problem with the mouse itself, but after experimenting with different software drivers and systems, I think this is a problem with the driver. My first experience with Mionix's support was very bad, with a person who didn't seem to build complete sentences with their support. However, I approached them a second time few months later, and I received phenomenal support. So this will really depend on the season and who you talk to. On Windows, the driver somehow has some sort of compensation that makes the mouse wheel work OK, it's not perfect, but in most use cases this is fine. However, you try to use this mouse on some linux distro that's using a generic mouse driver, and your mouse wheel will be completely unusable. You also will run into similar problems on windows if the wrong driver is installed. If this was 4 years ago, I'd recommend this product, but with so many good mice on the market, it's hard to recommend this one.

Seems great at first, but falls apart quickly.
I was pretty happy with this mouse but it started to fall apart just a year after using it. I took good care of it, like all my other devices. My main issue with it was that the scroll wheel became noticeably loose and wouldn't register scrolls and clicks properly anymore. It would also register false scrolls (in the opposite direction) and phantom scrolls. Mionix support wasn't very helpful. They asked me to open the mouse and inspect the scroll wheel, and after closing it back up it was worse than before. Afterwards they just sent me a new pair of mouse feet and closed my ticket, without ever actually addressing my concerns. When you first open the box up, you're greeted with the message "Congratulations! You have purchased a fine piece of craftsmanship." Yeah, no. Try to avoid this brand unless you enjoy buying a new mouse every few months.
