Can't really say I see what other people see in this mouse. I bought a 50 dollar mouse and keyboard combo and the mouse that came with that is just as functional as this one. It also had an Led keyboard and mouse, 2 more programmable buttons, better dpi switch that has a little light that blinks faster when you change it (so you know which setting you are one), and had a braided cable as well and came with an extremely large mouse pad that was really nice.
The so called quality the Mionix had for me just wasn't there. My previous mouse was smashed and banged so much and I had it for like 2 years, and it still is completely functional and fine, while the mionix's middle mouse button is becoming defunct after about 3 months and I made sure I never got angry , or accidentally smashed it or anything.
The only good things I can say about it are that the software is really nice, and it feels nice to hold (due to the matte black finish, or whatever they used on it). That and it has 2 small icons that glow, but that is also pointless as they are smallish, and your hand will be covering them at all times. It does get up to 10,000 dpi (my previous was like 7500 max I think), but dpi is just a gimmick that doesn't really do anything.
Maybe I just got unlucky, or am not using it right as I don't have a gaming grade mouse pad, but the surface analyzer with the software gave my mouse pad 100%, so it must be good enough at least. Overall I do not recommend ever buying this at full price. 50 dollars, or less definitely seems more reasonable.

LunovaYou must have got a faulty unit, a middle mouse button failure is bizarre. You should have sent the mouse back, it would have been replaced within a 3 month period. There are tonnes of positive things to say about this mouse, The form, software, texture, build, click sound and simplicity etc are all fantastic in my experience and i've been through countless mice in my 20 years of gaming, including the Logitech G502, which is easily the worst in terms of poor build quality and failing buttons.
