Middle clicks started to make problems, it sometime not register a click. I opened it and cleaned the middle click button and it helped for a while but started to occure again. anyone had this problem and managed to fix it?
TheAnosmicIf anyone's having this issue, I needed to glue the rubber of the scroll wheel to it's inner circle so it won't slip, then I cleaned everything with a lot of Isoprophanol and now it works again
Mionix has high quality products. This drop is the same price the RGB Black version that was not too long ago on Amazon. I'm not sure why the non RGB mice are the same price as the RGB one, though, I would think they would be at least $10 or even $20 cheaper. For the RGB black version, this is the best deal you'll find. For the others, probably still the best deal, but for the same price they should have made the others special Massdrop editions with RGB, or $5 more for a small cosmetics price. In the end, they are all high quality mice, but with a 3310 sensor instead of a more modern one like the 3360. If you want to spend the money and you like the look, then get one.
I ordered a Mionix Avior 7000 months ago (loved the shape of the mouse, loved the software and absolutely loved the fact that I could increase the DPI by 50 every time, thanks to the great sensor that is found within this mouse), not even a month in, the middle mouse button would no longer recognize the clicks, leaving me essentially with a bricked mouse (unless I open it up and take an actual look inside to see if I could replace it with another scroll wheel, that is if I find one on ebay for parts) and leaving me with a bad taste. In contrast, I've had a Steelserries Sensei (the original one 62150) for years that still works to this day (although a bit worn off). I guess that's just my luck, but still sad. :'(
I have tested the Mionix Castor along with 15 or so other mice. It had some good features, but the size was a tad too small for me and it ended up placing very low in my overall ratings. Usually, I prefer a large mouse for a palm grip such as the Razer DA Elite or SS Rival 300, but for the past year, I have been using the Logitech G403 , which is smaller than my former preferred mice, but I find it almost perfect in every respect.
