Id like to know what drives up the price so high on these. This Seems unreasonable to me. Talk me into what makes this product better than the rest.

This isn't even a well designed tray.
If you'll notice, the snaps are too far from each other. They need to be SEVERAL cm closer together. As it is currently designed, it is more of a pouch design than a tray design. When you try to retrieve your change or other small objects from this tray, it looks like you will have to pick it up and physically dump it, rather than just slide it to the edge and grab them out, especially if the leather is hard.
Of course, if you're buying a $140 piece of leather with 4 sets of snaps punched into it, you probably don't fk around with pocket change.

I don't think it is worth that much even if the tray is made of shell cordovan. This is not a deal for sure.

Can someone explain to me why two pieces of leather glued together with snaps installed is $140? Is there a gold middle layer that wasn't mentioned?
