I see well over 500 requests to revisit this drop; any news on if this can happen? Any overtures to the vendor yet? I've got at least two spoken for...

Mine came in perfect shape. Funny, I should consider myself lucky. But receiving a new item in perfect shape should never be a lucky thing - it's a NORMAL expectation and it's what you should receive 100% of the time. It shows how much Miro has dropped the ball - that so many folks have received imperfect watches.
I think the watch is OK. It feels thicker and bulkier than I would have hoped. It's nice, but I wouldn't exactly call it elegant. It's just a tad bulky to feel elegant to me.
But where the watch really falls down, IMO, is in the quality of the watch band. I do like the white threading near the hinges. That's a nice detail. But the leather feels super cheap.
Instead of a dense, solid leather, the band feels like it's made of a light, cheap laminated leather that will fall apart very quickly. If you've ever seen that kind of cheap leather where the color is dyed onto a paper thin laminated layer on the surface of the leather, well, this is it. The surface feels like it's been varnished or lacquered, and when you flex it, the varnished surface crinkles and creases instead of maintaining a consistent, bendable surface that you'd see in a regular quality leather. This is super cheap leather that looks like it will delaminate and separate in short order. It looks great in the pictures, but is disappointing in real life.
Boy, Miro could have done us a lot better as far as the watchband goes. I'm truly disappointed with the band. Otherwise, the watch is decent or better, IMO.

hey guys, I spoke to their customer support and looks like it'll take 1-2 months to be able to replace the watches with the blue dials since they're extremely limited in stock. You are also expected to pay for shipping, but miró will refund shipping costs if you send a receipt along with the watch.

Mine appears to be DOA. I've tried to manually wind it with the crown one click from normal position and also to start it by moving it back and forth horizontally for 30s with the crown in the normal position. Nothing seems to work that would work for my other automatics. I've contacted Miro's customer support to see what the next steps are.
Another small detail I don't like: it seems that even in the normal position, if you touch the crown in a way that makes it turn counter clockwise (this could happen reaching in and out of a pocket, for example) it will affect the movement! This could add up to timing inaccuracies by making the watch appear to be running fast. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm hoping it's a defect relating to how mine won't start at all!

It's a lovely watch in all other regards and the dirt doesn't overly bother me, but if it seems to be a widespread issue - how does Massdrop normally resolve these things? I live in New Zealand, it's a pain in the derrière to ship items back to the USA under RMA, costs like $50 :(
It's almost like the watches are refurbs or 2nds based off the comments above...

BlackrazorNZYeah, I`ve got a watch with only one dust particle and loose minute marker. Bought it locally at a shop but could not be bothered chasing up the warranty repair as it works and keeps time very good :)
Noticed poor quality checks with HK / China assembled watches. Even the Orient brand from time to time tends to have quality control issues.

BlackrazorNZNot to excuse the poor QA on the part of Miro, but it may be easier to either open the watch to clean or take it to a local watchmaker to do so for a few bucks.

To be honest, I thought I just hadn't cleaned the crystal properly. But after reading the posts above, I got out the cleaning cloth and microfibre and gave it a jolly good clean. 1 big dust particle and a couple of hairs seem to be on the inside of the glass - pic here :

ChrisKohIt gets worse. The dial itself has scratches... and the crystal does as well on the internal portion.
How this occurs, is beyond me.

Did anybody else's come kind of dirty and or dinged? My navy dial has water marks and the movement looks like it's been touched with dirty fingers.

CesarYes. This watch doesn't look new. The case came damaged, and it has minor scratches on the display case back and fingerprints on it.
