Slender, Elegant Floorstanding Speakers
Mission has been making highly regarded loudspeakers since 1977, and it’s perhaps best known for introducing the 753 model 20 years ago. Continuing this lineage, the 796SE loudspeakers are the latest sonically enhanced (SE) version of the stunning 796. They deliver on the sound, finish, and design quality that we’ve come to expect from Mission products. The sonic enhancements include new silk dome tweeters mounted on a die-cast waveguide to improve sound dispersion and midrange integration with the bass-mid unit. The cabinets feature a multilayer construction with different densities of resonant-absorbing particle composite. Each layer is tuned to damp different frequencies of resonance and laminated with RF-activated resin to provide further vibration isolation. And if you the speakers look mighty fine, too, there’s a reason: They’re inspired by Lamborghini design.
