I have this keyboard and I do not reccomend it if you are using it connected to a hub that you connect to your laptop. in my case 50% of the time or so when i plug my computer into the hub half of the keyboard doesn't connect. I have to unplug the keyboard and replug it in. what may seem like a small problem gets very annoying over time for something you want to "just work"

MassrichWell, you are putting that second half through two USB interfaces before it goes into a PC.

MassrichThanks for sharing- I think many of us use a usb hub and this is useful info. I can see how this could get annoying...

MassrichIs it a powered hub, or unpowered? Unpowered hubs may have so little amperage left for each port that driving a dual backlit keyboard is just too much. One option would be to just plug each half into its own port on the hub, rather than right half to hub and left half to right half. Did you try that?

captainThat might not work since the right side is the master half, the left side needs to connect directly to the right half or it doesn't light up, it will work however.
