What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. What's weird is that Cherry *does* have a new low profile switch, the Cherry MX low profile RGB: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/cherry-mx-low-profile-rgb-mechanical-keyboard-switches,36328.html I don't think it's ready for production yet.
Upon further review, looks like they're dye subbed and Cherry ML (ML1A) switches which means ... the old ones. I think this is a hard pass for me.
I have the MiTo Canvas XDA caps for normal MX profiles and they are so amazing. If only I could use them on my HAVIT board I'd have the perfect gaming keyboard (for now). There's always something bigger and brighter.
