Setup was easy, feels good in the hands when taking out the package. Love the detail to add a dustplug for the usb receiver. Well maybe, no lag in typen, good connection. Only flaw was that i had to adjust to turning the keyboard off, so the first set of batteries (which were included, nice) were out if juice pretty quick xD
solid keyboard! I have no major complaints besides the manual being a little hard to navigate and not entirely clear on some instructions but that's pretty par for the course for a lot of prebuilt keyboards. keycaps are cheap but good quality (from what I can tell) and look awesome, it was the main reason I bought the board in the first place.
overall it's a four star from me personally as I have no major complaints but I know there's better keyboards out there for very similar price points.
(also I took MX blues to try them out for the first time and they are just as heinous as I expected them to be)
red cherrys sound nice to me for the kb, the default keycaps are ok but tall for me and i don't think they have that glowing character so just swapped them with godspeed/kaiju.
looks better now i think :)
Received the board, not the same as the picture though...
Sorry for the crappy quality pic, but if you take a quick look you'll see that the color scheme is not the same as in the pictures above. That is because though this is the Gloaming, the pics above were of the Bunny. This is unfortunate as I like the way the board is, just hate the orange on grey keys.
I hope drop will fix this issue for potential future runs of these and similar products.
