Those really are unpopular huh.
I've heard they added a leather strap to the headband to remove the rattle which was one of their faults on top of tuning the drivers a little. Even though there is no way to know if it's true except if someone can review both of them.
The N500 are $475 on Taobao so yep they are even cheaper than the OEMs they corrected.
The owners of the MJ2 and JP1 are pretty happy with those. Crazy no-one is willing to join the drop.
well, loads of people are happy with beats. and frends. doesn't make them that good. what killed my interest in these was reading about verisonix and their indiegogo schmutz.
Well Beats owners usually don't know anything about headphones to begin with. From the feedbacks I've seen people who are happy with them have some backgrounds with headphones. They own things like LCD-4, TH600, HE-6, DT1770, ESP-950, Elear...
But I can understand you're not trusting Verisonix, I've heard they have a pretty bad reputation :)
I asked the shop in Taobao recently and they said N500 and N501 are the same thing, just with different housing.
From the appearance, N500 = JP1 and N501 = MJ2.
Does it means JP1 indeed the same as MJ2 but with difference price?
