OK, so i let them burn in for 5 days now. The first day right out of the box it sounded dull, dark en undefined, But right now the sound is cristal clear, stereo image wide and reasonable deep, the bass sounds exactly like it should be, the middle and high frequencies show their electrostatic nature, so sounds really natural and fast also, nothing to complain about. cons, actually only one the cables that the headphone came with, sound really like garbage. rightnow i am playing with a tiny cheap blue tooth receiver, can walk around within 15 meters of the source, so now the mj1 really opened up with the receiver, it can pay really loud without any distortion. Finally some words about all the negative comments here.anumber of them i donot trust atall, imo they were just written from people that are only trying to destroy this massdrop offer, some are comments from angry teenagers. I advice people o be patient an run them in for minimal of 100 hours, pair it with good quality cables, or likei did go wireless with blue tooth, and you will be rewarded with imo high end sound

Indra040293Burn in is a myth my dude. They wont get better at all. I got the mitchell and johnson MJ2 and even after many hours of use they still sound garbage. My dt880s are half the price of these and they sound astronomically much better, more detailed and balanced.

bkk2018"I take the masses against the few" thats what i did, kind sir, when I bought the MJ2 and i was absolutely disappointed. Listen im not trying to sell you snake oil I give you a very important advice instead: never buy expensive headphones before you had a chance to listen to them in person. Take this from a 17 year old guy who loves hifi and whose ears are as good as it gets. I will never again listen to some reviews on headfonia or a similar sites like them because they made me waste 100 dollars on the MJ2. After that i went to a local hifi store where i got to try the Beyerdynamic dt880 and it blew me away. By far the clearest and most detailed sound ive ever heard (nothing for bassheads though they are as neutral as it gets). Buy the dt880 instead of anything from mitchell and johnsson :)

Florianskisure … I just wanted to correct this part - > "they are as neutral as it gets" and there are other (mostly BA IEMs for example the Etymotic ER 4 or Dynamic D for example the akg k 601) headphones in the same budget spectrum that are more neutral than the dt 880.
