View Full Discussion i had backed a HP102 electrostatic from Verisonix that was on indiegogo last year. all i can say is that it has pretty good mid high, crisp, imaging and soundstage are great but theres no punch when it comes to low frequency, you should do a little tweaks on the equalizer to make it recognizable. but overall i loved it since i do listen mostly on female and male vocals.
heres the link to the project;
Just for clarity, Verisonix is the OEM manufacturer for Mitchell and Johnson. They M&J's I were not a good buy at the $200+ level, but for 44 bucks they aren't a bad gamble. For the money, I would buy the small Emu Purplehearts that drop for $74.99. They sound better than anything at this price level should!
Hey, I looked at the indiegogo and bluetooth electrostaz/dynamic hybrid sounds really interesting. Am I reading it right that it would be $99 currently? It might interest me, but I'd want to try some other phones from them first.
