i sent mine back to massdrop a little over a week ago. they covered return postage, i just needed to drop it off at a UPS store. i have not yet heard back from them since they received the package, but they told me they had another keyboard in my exact configuration that they'd ship out to me upon receiving the defective unit.
so i'm a little anxious to get a tracking number for the new unit, and i wish they'd agreed to open it up and verify that it was working before shipping it out to me, but i'm fairly confident that they'll make this right for me and i'm actually considering buying another one of these guys from the new drop. i really love the case, despite the internal components being, well, let's just say not the best quality assurance.
