Round out your knife collection with a Drop-exclusive slip-joint knife ideal for everyday carry. Crafted in collaboration with MKM Knives—an esteemed knifemaking collective comprised of Italy’s four leading knifemakers—the Fara M390 slip-joint knife comes from a tradition of exceptional craftsmanship. Designed by custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley, this knife features a compact, slightly curved handle finished with exclusive ebony wood scales. The satin-finished clip-point blade is made from Bohler M390 steel and opens using a thumb groove. It stops at 90 degrees and 180 degrees to ensure controlled opening. Accented with MKM and Burnley branding on the blade, as well as circular inlays and a metal lanyard hole at the base of the handle, the Drop-exclusive Fara delves into the finer details to deliver on both form and function. Carry yours unsheathed in any pocket, or store it in the included, belt-loop-equipped black leather sheath.

Always fascinated by the wilderness, stories of survival, and action movies, Lucas Burnley decided to make his passion a reality in 2003 when he founded Burnley Knives. With the bulk of his experience derived from trial and error, Burnley has earned a reputation as a reliable craftsman by combining elements of classic knives with an emphasis on modern materials. “To me knives are a personal expression of independence and self reliance,” he says. “Starting with raw materials, I’m able to create intrinsically useful and aesthetically pleasing tools and objects of pride that can be used and passed down for generations.”
