RecklessI doubt they'll put them in anything other than a standard set. Unless they feel the damage to standard would be too high, they sell far too many packs to put in any Masters set. WotC has proven nothing is outside their range, so I could very well be wrong, but I wouldn't put money on them being here.
SogekingI would also like them in standard to push their price even lower and be more readily accessible but you never know with WotC. And if they view Frontier as a valid format, you can't discount MaRo's comment that he doesn't want fetches in Frontier. Who know...
bdwakefieldConsidering he's high up on the food chain there, I think what he wants is very relevant. They can affect formats without officially supporting them.
RecklessI suppose that is true; but he doesn't even really have that much control over what makes it into each set right? I thought he had said that somewhat recently.
bdwakefieldI think it would be an extremely long time before the Zendikar fetch lands hit standard. While it would be nice and it would drive the prices insanely low(er than what they are now), I don't think they're going to allow that power in standard this soon after the Khans fetches. Also, since at this point in time, the majority of Frontier is Standard legal, there's no way they're going to back it until the opposite is true. They won't support until there's more non-standard legal than standard legal in frontier if anything.
My gut feeling/opinion: they tell us all to F-off and reprint the Innistrad enemy dual lands(clifftop retreat/woodland cemetary/isolated chapel/etc...) instead.
