Thanks again for joining this drop! Shortly after the drop ended, we submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Modern Solids Strips by Jason Yenter. The vendor informed us that the bulk order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive 4/25.

Were we told about this? If so, did it go out to the general membership or on a one by one basis? If this is added into the cost of the item, then the savings goes down dramatically! One of the advantages of Massdrop was the good prices.

Quilt-DrThere was no email that went out and it happened just last week. I am still working to make sure that the total price you pay, including shipping, is less then you can find elsewhere. :-)

SandyLucasWhen I figure the cost of many items, I do the cost per item. When adding on the postage, it does make a difference on the cost/item. Sometimes, insignificant but many times a significant difference. How this will impact my purchasing items remains to be seen.

The close up of the turquoise blue fabric looks like it is a shot cotton: one color on warp and another on the weft. Is it? Are there other fabrics in the roll like this? Are they all shot cottons?

Great news group! We placed the order shortly after the drop ended and the vendor has let us know that it's already been picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 12/7. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

The group's order arrived a little later than expected due to a UPS delay. Once the bulk shipment arrived with us, our warehouse quickly inventoried everything and they were able to get the individual orders packed up. They're awaiting pickup and will ship on Monday.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 11/10 or sooner if something comes up.
