TL;DR, these are very close to the sound signature of the $150 Shure 215LTD IEMs. For $45, these IEMs CANNOT be beat.
But anyways, on to the review.
All I can say is, wow. I bought these simply because I loved the idea of dual drivers for each ear, having a dedicated driver for low frequency... love it!
These things were a complete surprise, honestly. I own a pair of the Shure 215LTD headphones, which were my first 'above entry level' headphones... and I thought those things were king. I was so wrong. The SS01s are very bass powerful, which I LOVE. But when I say bass powerful, I do not mean that the bass is overpowering. With that statement, I mean that if you have bassy songs, these headphones will deliver everything you ask of them. The bass comes out clean, vivid, and clear just as its meant to sound... there is no crackling or distortion like you get in cheappo headphones. The bass is my #1 favorite for these IEMs, aside from the looks, of course. So if you primarily listen to bass heavy music and don't like colored overpowering bass, these are for you.
The overall sound signature is distinctly U shaped, with soft tones and absolutely nothing is colored or overpowering... this means that the sound is "genuine", the music is produced as it was meant to sound. A quality I loved about my Shures can now be gotten for only $45... absolutely amazing.
Cosmetically they are simply stunning. Whenever I show them off to my friends they are amazed by the dual drivers, and find that one being dedicated for low frequency is the coolest part. They are very unique, and because of this... THEY STAND OUT.
I know I'm repeating myself here, but the amount of quality you get out of this buy is quite literally the best thing around. These headphones are severely underrated and in my opinion are ranked right up there with my Shure 215LTDs ($150). These will now be my primary pair for their high quality sound and their unique look! Very glad I bought these.

The_GoatI got these headphones in this last massdrop Bazar and I have to say I'm incredibly disappointed with the complete lack of bass. I'm really interested in how you came to your opinion of these headphones having excellent bass when my experience with these buds has me astonished at how little bass there is. everything I listen to with these headphones sounds terrible.

Dhuppexcellent bass does not mean that the bass is prominent, to most people at least.

Overlordx666Will the treble overpower the rest of my music, I have a shitty pair of Sharper image earbuds, and the treble and mids greatly overpower the bass, is that the case with these?
