A big plus to these notebooks as well is the color/ink stability. When using really fine or needle point pens (i.e. "rotring rapidograph" or other technical pens) the ink seems to hold-in-place better than other notebooks that I've used in the past. Below is a detailed/enlarged example of the "ink holding" effect. The shading dots don't smear or bleed onto the other dots (if drawn accurately, lol)
