Mine arrived today, the one corner was sort of dented, strained. That's really sad since the package was in rubberplastic, except for the short end of the Journals :S I wonder how DHL have been trying to make this happened inside all that plastic.
Note: It's usuable and only the lower inner centimeter is really creased by it.
There are actually two (at least two) different kinds of paper used for these journals, one being more fp friendly than the other, but there is no way to tell without actually seeing the journal. If you use fine or extra fine nibs you should be all right tough; wider/wetter nibs would not work well.
FeanaaroThankfully for me, I'm one of those that prefers EF and F nibs. Also, if you try out Kaligraphy nibs, I guess paper would make a huge difference as well, seeing as they can easily get stuck if you should write in the "wrong" way. Lime me... Used mine as any pen the first time I had one and scratch ordinary paper to shreds LOL.
At least I learned how to clean my pen after that...
