What a harping bunch of NONSENSE! They work well with Fountain pens. More fine the better. Best one for this is a Pilot. Yes, a Pilot. There's THIS pen here and it's THE best for use on BOTH sides of your MOLESKINE paper. NO bleeding. No, it's not a Fountain pen, but I've used my Mont Blanc for years with these, and only have not purchased so many due to the HIGH cost. And, now esp sic where I live, they have to put CANCER warning signs on the Moleskine display cases.

The bleed is obvious for fountain pens. Now I try with Kanji characters where line width variation is much more important.

Above shows Kanji characters of "Japan". Even simple characters bleed like crazy.

A little more involved characters of "Taiwan". I can't imagine using Moleskine to write more complex Kanjis.

I got it in a local Taiwan-based venue. I would suggest go with Leuchtturm1917. Easier to find.

I use a Parker Fine Point Roller Ball. Is there any bleed through? I use these basic one subject notebooks at time and the bleed through is ridiculous.
Depending on configuration, it's less expensive on Amazon. Paper is only 70 gsm which is not "fountain pen friendly."
