Product Description
The Flamingo Linear Switches are MOMOKA’s second release—building on the bouncy success of the Frog switches. The steel, dual-rate springs used in these switches require a notably strong actuation force of 67 grams, but thanks to that dual action, they provide satisfyingly strong bounceback force as well Read More

The housing for the Flamingos and Frogs is really tight. In terms of stem wobble, I think it has more wobble than the Gateron Yellow. The stock sound is really nice, there isn't any spring ping or scratchiness. I wish the switch was 5-pin though. Without any mods, it is a smooth switch. Using this switch as is definitely beats trying to lube and film something like a Gateron Yellow (stock Flamingo and Frog > stock Gateron KS-3X1 Yellow). Would be a great linear for someone that doesn't have the time, money or patience to mod switches, or just wants to try out a good/stock switch. The Flamingos are heavier than the Yellows. This might cause fatigue for some people. In terms of sound, linear switches with Cherry profile is "clacky". XDA profile has nice, deep sound. DSA sounds quieter than the Cherry profile, and the sound kind of like a "tick".

sylvorinnHad the Frogs for 1.5 years and tried a good amount of other switches since, still daily driving them to this day. :) They’re not perfect and the factory lube not the most consistent but to me at least they offer a more relaxed typing experience compared to other switches I’ve tried. The bottom-out isn’t harsh in feel and the sound while not musical, isn’t offensive either with a deeper sound signature. I haven’t tried the Flamingos but I like the light-to-medium weighting on the Frogs which to me strikes a good balance between gaming/typing. The 2.50mm pre-travel means that it’s not the fastest actuating switch but at the same time less prone to accidental actuations.

I've got these in the Momoka ERGO which was released earlier this year. My first linear switches so I don't have much of a comparison against other linears, but man, everything else in my collection feels like crap by comparison, scratchy. These are really smooth, good weight. I'll pry pick up an order, at least, to swap into another keeb.
