drop really needs to up their game. This certainly looks cool. price is luxurious and does not justify..... the offerings have been going down hill as I can see being a long term member. edit - i only see audio stuff and keyboards. where are the bags, cups, belts and wallets.. Managed to find this on taobao. at 160 USD. most likey rebranded item from china....... I hate it that folks here are paying more for a branded label "momoka". not even a drop FFS

Looks like an elektube rebrand to me, maybe the other way around im not sure. Either way the elektube is ready to ship tomorrow. Hard to justify either with the NovelLife clock having mobile software controls and the power cable in the back for less money.

Looks cool, but the power cord being on the side instead of the back is kind of a deal breaker for me. I'll add to my favourites and see if there are any iteration in the future.

Yeah I agree. I was so close on pre-ordering too.
Something I noticed too as well, as a small workaround there are right-angled cables that makes the cable less jarring from the side.

Is the PC connection required to operate or just for power. Linux user here, wondering how well this will work for me.

It works just with DC input, however, if you wanted to modify the themes, a Windows PC is required.

Is this PC only, or can Mac users customize too?

I get the hype for tubes. But isn't putting an LCD in them (with noticeable backlight bleed) kinda underwhelming? Struggling to see the value when I can get a tube amp for about the same cost.
Hi, like it says in the title and description this product isn't a tube amp. It's a clock!

Agreed. I get a much fuller/warmer sound from my TN-paneled tubes. Why they chose IPS is beyond me ;)

This is one weird looking tube amp…
Not an amp, but I can see the similarities!

So I found what looks to be similar hardware that is user programmable display-wise. Is this similar? Also, is "to music" supposed to be "to mimic?"

You gotta music the predecessors to make your oppoty and driams come true!
Yes, the typo has been updated.
